Westfield commissioned us to create "The Art of Coming Together," an interactive art mural designed to unite communities as the Covid-19 pandemic waned. This multi-sided installation would be displayed in several Westfield malls (as they re-opened) and online, serving as a symbol of reconnection during the final stages of quarantine.
The piece would become interactive through a photo call, inviting people to submit images of themselves with outstretched arms. These photos would then be arranged in a grid on the wall, creating a mosaic-like composition.
In addition to working on the wall itself, we were tasked with creating a campaign to inform and persuade the community to submit photos for the mosaic. To achieve this, we developed a range of print, digital, and social media assets.
The project's launch was ultimately thwarted by a Covid resurgence, which forced malls to remain closed.
